Piggy Five

Raghavendra looked furtively around.

Would any of the others know that it was only his finger that hadnt done its job?

Did they smell the traitor in their midst, or was it just the stench of death?

Only he knew of the rest.

And about where they hid amidst wet clay and brushland.

In response to this by BB. And only for this week as Chamique is away.

  • Why Raghavendra? Would a sniper be called Raghu? Snake-Eyes or something like that.

  • Sorry mate, nice try but you aren't in love with Dilettante. And it shows.

  • Thanks dude. I liked it much.

"Raghu, terminate the intruder with extreme prejudice!"

  • The small dames twist dames.
    Burning, foolish autumn falls.
    Stars chase twisted snow.

  • To watcher: Its a Hubli story (Provo's link). So I thought they would get a local. Plus what kind of 'sniper' would you need to get a porker? You couldnt miss if you threw a cow at it.

To anonymous: Thanks for the commiseration, dude. But what does being in love with Dilettante have to do with stories posted by BB? Umm.....sorry, didnt get that.

  • Not to be a pedant but your post is only 53 words long...

By Anonymous WordGuru, at 3:55 PM

  • When Wordguru pointed out that the 55 was actually 53, my first instinct as a lawyer was to run a word check. Which yielded that it was indeed 53.

I noticed that even if I claimed that an apostrophe could be inserted in hadnt to make it had'nt, it wouldnt really work.

A voice tells me that its plain dirty to try and include the two words in the title to the 53.

Thus, I must concede, I have failed. I give back to Chamique her domain - I dont deserve it if I cant count.

    Wordguru, hope you're happy. Sniff.
